Program

Buddy Abroad AI check-ins and safety alerts. Travelers receive daily check-in messages and reminders while a trip is active, and confirmations about their account. People a traveler has chosen as Buddies receive one invitation asking them to reply YES, and afterwards only safety alerts (when the traveler misses check-ins or sends their private emergency signal), the all-clear, and trip updates the traveler sends them.

How you opt in

Travelers opt in by entering their mobile number in the Buddy Abroad AI app, agreeing to these terms, and replying YES to the confirmation message. Buddies opt in by replying YES to the invitation; nothing else is sent to a Buddy until they do.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies: usually one or two check-ins a day for travelers, and alerts only when needed. Message and data rates may apply.

Stopping and help

Reply STOP to any message to stop all messages to your number. Reply START to receive them again. Reply HELP, or e-mail support@buddyabroadai.com, for help.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy
